Hampton Adams | 3-Pack Black Sports Athletic Tape

I have really bad chronic loose patella syndrome. To the point that my knee cap will dislocate like 1-3 times a day depending on the activity. I use this tap so create like a track for my kneecap to guide it so it doesn’t dislocate. It’s thin and discrete so I can wear it under my clothes and it still gets the hub done without being as bulky or heavy duty as my knee braces. I can use it in every day scenarios and look sleek. I can also use it for swimming which I do as a low impact sport. It’s not perfectly waterproof, more like water resistant. If you are going to use it for that, don’t relift to readjust. You have to put it down confidently. I would also use the technique in the video from my photo. That way if one strap does come up, there are actually two layers so there’s another layer underneath that still gives you support. It’s very useful but definitely look up a YouTube tutorial from a professional about how to use this product for your issue.

100% happy , I have to wear something on my wrists for every physical activity - and work daily . I am very active female with old injuries from gymnastics . I had no reaction to product and was easy to tear , the support is great I am also using on finger i sprained recently. I am ordering the larger box today I am just so pleased with this purchase . I was using a gauze it was ok , didnt like the look , and I needed more support and was hard to tear . Highly recommend - start with the 3 pack its affordable to try out .

Would be better if the price was a bit cheaper. But tape holds up well. I use it for wrestling/Jiu Jitsu. At the end of two hours training the tape is coming off my fingers

I use this for my dobermans ear posts. It’s porous and breathable enough but also not too sticky. Great for that!

Great product, applies support to my wrist and allows me to continue playing tennis. It also provides support to allow my tendons to heal.

I use this black tape for taping my dobermans ears when I post them. It is REALLY sticky, when it sticks to itself it will NOT come back off. But on skin or doberman ears with hair, it can be taken off easily without pain, and without removing hair. Wonderful stuff, just really hard to handle in longer pieces. Again, once it sticks to itself, or folds in on itself, it is stuck forever. and you will have to start over with a new piece. Once you get used to handling it , it is the best tape in the world for posting dogs ears.

I used this to wrap around metal monkeys on our swingset as well as bat grip. Not the intended use but perfect for what we needed

Over all the product does what I need it to do. This is my go to item.

I used the tape to support a severely injured big toe. The tape was easy to tear, supportive, did not fray and did not roll up when putting on tight support socks. Excellent product. The photos are after wearing the tape overnight in bed followed by a long work day on my feet where I wear snug support socks.

Wrapped my door chin up bar after the foam cushion tore off. Easy to put it on and stays in place. Will buy again.

This tape is perfect. It stays on well and removes without any film or residue. I use it to cover a skin condition. It keeps my skin from drying and protects my skin. I am on my second 3 pack. I keep one and home, one in the car and one at work.

It work as advertised "No Sticky Residue & Easy to Tear". I've been using it to wrap my wrist for boxing sessions for a couple of years. Other products I used before were difficult to tear with one hand. This one is a breeze.

I wrap my hands and wrist using them for boxing heavy bag class for the hands I got to the knuckles of the hand. Just two or three strip. It helps if you their a sucky punch. Next I wrap my wrist- high in the wrist where the joint and bone is. This helps if both the punch sucks or just the repeated strikes and punches hurt

Husband is using it at the gym, has joint pain and this really really helps. Doesnt need to use a lot either

I used tape a lot when golfing as my fingers get cracked or sometimes blister. This tape works very well and stays in place. Highly recommend.

It does just ok. The ends never stay adhered, which is irritating. Based on the price, this is, unfortunately, one of the best options out there.

i play baseball and use the tape to wrap my wrist before games and it’s amazing, usually i’ll sweat and the stickiness will go away with reg tape but this one it doesn’t affect it. great product

Used for plantar fasciitis. Not a bad product for the price. Doesn't hold up in the shower if all the seams are not covered. Have used better tape but at 3 times the cost.

It sticks to the skin better than the white athletic tape, like mueller. Just easy to work with and it stays in place during activities. Im a medic covering sporting events and this is the best tape I've used.

We use this to take up our lyra (aerial hoop) and it’s stood up well to a lot of action, all outdoors (sun, intense heat, rain, even snow). Lasts a long time. Easy to remove when it’s time to retape. My aerialists approve!

I wear this on my writs when I work, helps keep inflammation down. Game changer for sure. If you have a hard time taking off the tape get it wet for a minute and then it should peel right off.

I bought this tape to wrap my crossbow with so it would blend in to the inside of my ground blind which is black. I purchased medical bandage tape in black before this tape and it had fibers in it that in certain light would sparkle and it looked more gray. This stuff is what the hunter ordered. It's black black and the adhesion is awesome. Don't let it stick to itself cause it won't come apart easily. You mise well cut it off. It's a pretty good value also . I have more than enough to wrap other items to.

I use this tape for my turf toe in Jiu Jitsu. It’s great! Has good support, and stays on pretty well. Also tears easily and evenly.

Instead buy the cheapest tape, I invested on this one and Im happy with it. It really helps my wrist to be more stable.

This tape was super easy to tear, is only a little flexible (so good if you're taping for support), but the adhesive isn't super strong. As soon as I started sweating it peeled off.

If you are looking for a super easy-to-tear athletic tape, this is it! AND, it is easy to remove! There is a little residue left over after removing the tape, but not enough for me to lower the 5-star rating.

The black color is dope. The stick was fairly good but would begin to peel after a few hours of movement/sweating. Still pretty damn amazing. I'd buy again.

The adhesive just isn’t great when my hands sweat. I tape between thumb and pointer finger during cleans.

I use a flexi-leash for my dog and while I love the large handle on it I was having a problem with it slipping on the humid Florida days. I lost my grip during more than one squirrel sighting and thought I would try this athletic tape as a solution. It works perfectly and there is so much of it that I can re-tape the handle every time it gets worn down at all.

The material is definitely not what i expected, its not something you can sleep with overnight. I use kinesiology tape for my shin splints, and havent worked out in over a year, so now that imma get back to it i was open to trying out new tapes, definitely not what i expected but im hoping it gets the job done.

Easy to apply and take off. I like the black color, which makes it less noticeable next to my black socks. A little bit of tape makes a difference when dealing with a strain.

This tape was just what I was looking for. The black color allows me to wear the tape a without it showing up too much. It provides the support and stability I need while my plantar fasciitis heals. It has the righ amount of adhesion yet was easy to remove.

I used this to tape my hands when lifting heavy to avoid callus and as soon as a start sweating it comes off. Its probably good for other body parts but I don't recommend for hands.

My only request is that the strips come in smaller rolls because it's hard to get the tape snug around your fingers since it's so thick

Fortunately I haven’t needed to remove it - the tape is adhering well, despite daily use for a couple months now. It leaves no sticky residue on my hands, unlike the last tape I used.

I bought this item because it wasn't precut but it is very difficult to tear this tape. Works well just difficult to tear.

purchased these due to daughter having an avulsion fracture to her pinky during a softball game. this helped to keep it stabilized during games,l!

Used it for my dog who had an avulsed nail. Used it over gauze and it worked well.

Good tape for athletes at school.

I bought this to wrap an aerial hoop for grip. At first the adhesive was seeping through the material and sticking to my clothes and I was disappointed, but that seems to have subsided so I'm pleased with my purchase for now. I can't speak to the longevity of it use.

I purchased this to assist with grip on the rig for pullups and toes to bar - I would order this again for sure. Good price, does the job I want it to do, and I've been told by others they feel it's better / grippier than other versions they've tried.

My son has flat feet and loves to play basketball. The sport tape was recommended by his doctor and it really has helped since he started using it. He doesn’t have nagging foot discomfort like before.

The adhesive power of this tape is pretty aggressive. You don’t end up with a sticky mess afterward, but once this tape is stuck to something, it’s not coming off easily. I have used this to adhere a lot of bandages - and it will stay intact for days if you want it to.

This is just the tape that I was hoping for when I saw it online, I'm sure I'll be reordering someday soon.

Love, love, love this tape! I bought it to actually seal a plastic bag around bandages on my leg that can't get wet. Masking tape wasn't doing the job. Adheres well, comes off easily and doesn't leave any residue on my skin. It works so well, I ordered 3 more rolls for other things I know it will be useful for! Not just for skin but used it to make the handle on my cane easier to grip. Comes off the roll evenly and stays flat while rolling. I do recommend cutting the tape, it's a little difficult to tear.

Due to the pandemic and the closing of my gym, I was forced to by weights were ever I could. I've purchased a lot of cast iron dumbbells and kettle bell that have very rough surfaces. I've used this product to wrap the handles and grip points on all my weights. The result,...The Perfect Grip. This tape is not sticky or tacky. It wraps extremely well and if done correctly will last you a very long time between replacements, (based on use). I like the stability it provides when I’m pressing close to 300lbs, the adhesion is great but if you’re hairy you might run into a problem when removing it. Other than that this is a great product.
